The National Federation of Electronic Sports of Turkmenistan respectfully informs you about the major international achievements the Federation reached in 2025 while developing and strengthening Turkmenistan’s position in the Asian esports community.
On April 6, 2025, the First Elective General Assembly of the Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF) was held online. During the Assembly, Mekan Eberdiev, President of the National Federation of Electronic Sports of Turkmenistan, was elected to the AESF Board.
The Assembly was attended by leaders of national esports federations across Asia as well as Mr. Vinod Tiwari, Deputy Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), underscoring the high status of the event and the attention given to esports development at the continental level.
We also report that in February 2025 the Central Asian Esports Association was officially established as a new regional structure intended to unite the efforts of the countries of the region in developing digital sports.
Following the Association’s Elective General Assembly,
- Mekan Eberdiev was elected Vice President of the Central Asian Esports Association,
- Nazar Udeumuradov, Secretary General of the National Federation of Electronic Sports of Turkmenistan, was elected Secretary General of the Association.
These achievements reflect recognition of Turkmenistan’s role as an active participant in the international esports movement and open new horizons for cooperation, exchange of experience, and promotion of sporting initiatives at the regional and Asian levels.
